The DR550 harvester operates with a Cummins 8.3 engine (6 cylinders, 8,300 cc, 250 HP), 4 × 2/4 × 4 traction, hydrostatic transmission (3 + 3 gears), hydrostatic steering and Flexifull 910 platform (30 feet, 9.10 meters) or FlexiDrap 9100 (30 feet, 9.10 meters).
The threshing system has a high inertia cylinder (1,500 × 520 mm), equipped with 8 bars (530 / 1,300 rpm) and an enveloping concave of 9 bars (103º), with a threshing area of ​​0.72 m2. It is complemented by a separation device using two helical rotors (3,800 × 450 mm, 540 rpm) mechanically driven by means of a belt, with four grids (180º) and a total separation area of ​​9.62 m12. The cleaning system includes a double screen and a centrifugal fan (800 / 1,200 rpm).
In addition, it has an 8,875-liter hopper with a rapid discharge tube (80 liters / second), a 415-liter fuel tank and a high-comfort panoramic cabin, with air conditioning, a command console with solenoid valves and a seat with hydraulic suspension.
